Have you ever wanted to walk into the voting booth and fill in the circle next to our own name on the ballot? Do you love politics and want to make a difference in the 2022 elections? Are you passionate about issues and want to be part of the change? If you answered yes to any of those questions becoming a DeKalb County IL Democratic Precinct Committee Person might be for you.

A Precinct Committee Person is a voting member of our County Democratic Party and they make the decisions about what causes we fight for and help get our candidates elected. Don’t worry though it isn’t all work, we also have a lot of fun socializing as a party and spending time doing community service projects.

We meet on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm to handle the business of the party. All Democrats are welcome at these meetings but only Precinct People are able to vote. Currently, we are meeting virtually on zoom but as things improve we may go back to in-person meetings.
