In 2020 the United States completed the Decennial Census and with that comes the reapportionment of our political districts. This means when you vote in the June 28th Democratic Primary you may be voting for a new set of candidates than the ones that currently represent you.

The redistricting process has brought some exciting changes to DeKalb County. Congresswoman Lauren Underwood’s new 14th district will now cover the City of DeKalb and Northern Illinois University in addition to a large portion of the central and southern parts of the county and Genoa and Kingston will have the opportunity to vote for Congressman Bill Foster in the new 11th Congressional district. The City of DeKalb residents will also have the chance to re-elect State Representative Lance Yednock bringing much-needed Democratic representation to the area.

Knowing what districts you now live in can be confusing but we are here to help. You can use the links below to find your districts for County Board, State Legislature, and US Congress or you can email info@dekalbcountydemocrats.org with your name and address and we can find the information for you.
