Anna Wilhelmi

Anna Wilhelmi is the Democratic candidate for DeKalb County Board District 11. A resident of a rural farmette near Earlville, she has lived in DeKalb County since 2005.

An attorney in private practice for more than two decades, Wilhelmi holds a J.D. from the NIU College of Law, a bachelor’s degree in sociology from NIU, and an associate degree from the College of DuPage; she previously ran for DeKalb County State’s Attorney. She chairs the oversight board of the DeKalb County Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and belongs to the League of Women Voters and the Illinois State and DeKalb County bar associations. Her priorities include protecting the county nursing center, safeguarding water, energy and farmland, supporting unions, and keeping property taxes reasonable.
